The Taiwanese card is a prepaid virtual card intended for merchants that charge in New Taiwan dollars. It is a fit for buying from Taiwanese online shops, booking rail or hotels in Taiwan, or paying a Taiwan-based service that accepts cards.
Because it is prepaid, you load a fixed amount with crypto and the merchant can never charge more than that balance.

Where the merchant accepts prepaid cards:
Some Taiwanese sites ask for a local mobile number for one-time codes or identity checks. If you cannot receive one, the merchant may not be able to complete your order.
Also travelling in the region? See the Japanese virtual card, the Korean card or the UnionPay China card.
Please note: Gpayvcc sells and supports prepaid virtual cards issued by partner institutions; we are not a bank and do not offer credit. Some merchants refuse prepaid cards, and acceptance can change without notice. We may ask for verification or refuse service where the law or our partners require it.
