The UnionPay China card is a prepaid virtual card on UnionPay, the card network most widely used in mainland China. It is meant for merchants that charge in yuan and accept UnionPay cards online.
UnionPay acceptance is strongest with Chinese merchants and some international travel and shopping sites. If your merchant only shows Visa and Mastercard logos, this card will not work there.

Where the merchant accepts UnionPay and prepaid cards:
Many Chinese platforms require real-name verification or a mainland mobile number, which the card cannot provide. We have not confirmed whether this card can be linked to Chinese mobile wallets.
If you are paying a merchant that only takes Visa, use the Visa Virtual Universal card. For other currencies in the region, see the Taiwanese card or the Korean card.
Good to know: this is a prepaid card, so you can only spend what is loaded and there is no credit line. Cards are issued by third-party issuing partners; Gpayvcc is not a bank. Whether a payment goes through depends on the merchant, the card network and the issuer's risk checks. Use the card only for lawful purchases and follow each merchant's terms.
Compare every card's value and issue fee on our pricing page. Questions about delivery, billing addresses or declines are answered in the Gpayvcc FAQ.
Some international merchants accept UnionPay, but far fewer than accept Visa or Mastercard. Check the logos on the payment page.
Look for the UnionPay logo on the payment page or in the merchant's list of accepted cards. If it is missing, choose a Visa or Mastercard card instead.
No. It is prepaid, with no credit line.
