The Argentine Peso Maestro Debit is a prepaid virtual card on the Maestro network, a Mastercard-owned debit brand, intended for payments in Argentine pesos. It carries $200 of card value, twice the balance of our Argentine Peso Card.
Maestro is mainly a debit brand, and online acceptance is narrower than for Visa or Mastercard. This card makes sense when you already know your merchant lists Maestro.

Use it at merchants that accept Maestro and prepaid cards, for example:
Many international websites do not accept Maestro at all, and some require 3-D Secure for every Maestro payment. If your merchant only lists Visa and Mastercard, choose a different card.
As with any peso card, follow each merchant's terms; it is not a way to access prices reserved for Argentine residents. Our Argentina virtual card guide explains local checkout requirements, and the Egyptian Maestro Debit is our other Maestro option.
Before you buy: confirm the merchant accepts prepaid cards on this network, check whether it needs 3-D Secure, and make sure the card's currency suits what you plan to pay. The card is prepaid, not credit, and is issued by a third-party partner, not by Gpayvcc. You are responsible for following the merchant's terms and your local laws.
Check current prices for all virtual cards before you deposit. Our frequently asked questions cover what you receive and what to check when a card is declined.
